Web Design FAQs
Just like asking how much a house is or how much a car costs, the answer will vary depending on your individual requirements and specification. Our custom WordPress design work starts at £2,000. For more complex websites or E-Commerce websites, you would be looking at a little more than this.
To discuss your project further, you can fill out our new project enquiry form. Once we’ve received this, we can have an initial discussion about your project and expected budget.
A typical web design project will take around 4-6 weeks, assuming any requested feedback and details are received in a timely manner. For more complex websites or E-Commerce stores, you can expect the turnaround time to be closer to 6-8 weeks.
We’re able to start most projects within a couple of weeks, depending on our current schedules. Once we’ve received your project enquiry and have had an initial discussion, we’ll be able to advise you further on a start date and schedule for your project.
Yes, all website projects that we quote for include training as standard. We provide training as video tutorials, which you and your team can access and review at any time. These will show you how to use your website, perform relevant actions and make changes on an on-going basis.
If you’d like training provided at your location, we can offer this for an additional charge - which would include training and travel time.
Absolutely! We’re very passionate about website support and maintenance. All of our projects come with a recommendation for a WordPress care plan as part of the proposal. We have a variety of plans to suit different budgets and requirements.
Our SEO campaigns start from £250 per month, for a local SEO campaign. By local SEO, we mean a company that is targeting a local area for new visitors and customers. For example, you could be a plumber looking to be visible to more customers in the Bristol area.
If you have a larger website, are targeting a wider area or are in a very competitive market, you can expect the monthly rates to be higher as there’s more work involved each month.
Please send us through an enquiry and we’ll run some preliminary research and let you know how we can assist.
We can usually get started assisting you with your SEO project within a couple of weeks. Once we’ve had a discussion with you and carried out our preliminary research we’ll be able to advise of the exact start date and expected schedule.
SEO is a little different to Pay Per Click advertising, in that it takes some time for the changes to be picked up by the search engines and for the search engines to subsequently trust that your content is the most suitable for a user’s search query. Without this period of time from the search engines, every search that we carry out as Internet users would just be full of spam links to websites offering larger appendages and inappropriate material.
A typical SEO campaign should start to deliver results within 3-6 months. The first major review point would be around 6 months into the campaign. It does depend a little on the level of competition for the keywords that we’re targeting for your website. We always look for quick wins wherever possible for your business.
In a word, no. Anyone that says they can guarantee a result in the search engines is not being truthful with you and if that is their key marketing message, they should perhaps be avoided. It’s not possible to guarantee any result in the search engines as the only people that control the algorithms are the search engines themselves, who update their search algorithms regularly.
As an ethical company, we carry out responsible SEO work that follows best practice guidelines. Our work is aimed at getting you ranking as high as possible in the search engines. Our initial research phase should be able to give a good indication on what we can achieve in the first 3-6 months, but this is not a guarantee. As above, we can’t guarantee position 1 rankings.
We’re located in Chichester, West Sussex which is on the south coast of England in the UK.
We work with many clients in our local area and also from around the world. We don’t have any geographical boundaries as such, so we’re happy to work with clients from anywhere in the world. The only thing we ask is that you can understand English, as design and marketing projects can be tough if we’re both pointing at things and making hand gestures / loud noises.
We accept payments via credit / debit cards (processed securely by Stripe). We also accept payment via bank transfer and direct debit (UK clients). At this time we do not accept payment via cash or cheque, without prior arrangement.
Our marketing services and WordPress Care Plans are paid for on a monthly basis. For website projects, these are paid over the schedule of the project, typically between 2-5 payments, depending on the length of the project.
Yes, we offer on-going support with both website and marketing projects. The most common support you’ll want from us is for your website and we’ve got you covered with our WordPress Support Packages.
Yes! A face-to-face meeting is always great for the initial meeting in a project. For local clients, we’ll come to your business and learn more about you and your team. If you’re further away, we can also travel to you for a meeting (budget dependant). For clients further afield or in other countries, we can offer a video call or a telephone meeting.
If you require on-going meetings, please let us know before we start your project so that we can include this into our proposal. We try and avoid too many meetings on an on-going basis as we try to streamline our work processes to deliver you the best work in the quickest time at an attractive investment rate.
